I started today by cooking hummus, on tahini. I cooked it without tahini before, since Dallas is not packed with Middle Eastern shops where it’s all cheap, but I think hummus needs it, so I bought some tahini earlier. I served the hummus with carrots, celery and bread to the sisters, and they ate it like wolves. To quote the little sister: “OMG, I’m so full now. I had no idea you could get full by eating vegetables”.

Madison then cooked soup for us, on roasted cauliflower. It got two different spices. I liked the Mediterranean best. So delicious! And I had no idea that you could get so full by eating soup.

In the evening, we saw Mansfield Park, a romantic drama from England around the year 1800. It was very … romantic and slow. These two children loved each other forever, but never ever kissed … zzz
