First cold day in Colombia

The border between Ecuador and Colombia. Good bye!

The border stream.

But why are there refugee tents from United Nations here? (Over by the red cross tents, not visible on this photo.)

Ah, Venezuelans! I wonder why they are on the Colombian side of this border, and not on the Ecuadorian side?

They took our passports. I was the last. He didn’t find my exit stamp from Ecuador. I found it for him, but too late. So I had to stand here in the chill for half an hour, with the queue growing behind me.

Then Colombia! First a taxi to the nearest bus station for five USD.

Waiting for the bus.

Goodbye you city!

Knut Pettersson is my secret name when travelling on Colombian buses.

Dinner!

It was very hard to sleep at night. I forgot my sleeping bag in my backpack, so I was freezing all night long. You always need your sleeping bag, stupid! Close to the equator doesn’t matter as you should have learned yesterday :p
