Woke up and walked to the bus station. This mountain says good morning!

I love these trees above the sidewalks.

Good morning Jesus! And the scary saints.

Took some money out. I really hope that 34.80 is not in US dollars! I then bought a ticket to Mexico City. 70 euros, about 21 hours. They had cheaper buses as well, with less room for your body. But I wanted that extra space. Which is worse for the environment. I’m sorry! At least I’m not flying like a modern let’s-kill-ourselves-human, that irrationally weak species we belong to.

I tried to have breakfast from a street stand that I liked, but they completely ignored me. I was like “eh … ingles?” and they were like “OMG, no money from that guy!”. So I went back to the station for this proper establishment, where they served me coffee as soon as I entered 🙂 The coffee was American though … just like in Guatemala. I guess I just have to get used to it! And by American, I mean USAian. I’m so sorry Latin Americans, to frequently use “America” just like people outside Latin America does it, to mean USA. I really believe in your fight to not make America = USA, but what you have to do, is to find a word that is easy and natural to use! It gets weird to use that abbreviation all the time.

Anyway, USAist coffee (or North American, as being in Mexico?) is so weak that it’s like drinking water with a hint of coffee taste. But if you drink it twice as fast, maybe it gets a little bit stronger? They could also, like in Argentina, serve that extra water in a glass on the side. So you can have water when you want water and coffee when you want coffee. Argentinians are so smart sometimes!

They even play music videos. Untz

Free nachos with free sauces! That black sauce is black beans. It tastes good, but looks like shit. A lot of bean sauces do. So you need to spice it up with something. Celery, tomato, cucumber, whatever. And, if you really dig into the facts, you could pick a vegetable for each that really balances the nutritional contents of the beans. Because that is quite different from bean to bean! Which is why I say that I need to eat beans, beans and beans and not just beans.

And in Mexico, it’s black beans! Looks awful but is very tasty and nutritious. I intend to live a long life.

Buy a lovely flower 🙂

Entering the bus. It was so comfortable. I love that there are Volvo buses everywhere, for purely patriotic reasons. But secretly, I found these Mercedes buses a lot more comfortable. Don’t shoot me! Germany is a nice place as well.

We stopped and changed buses. Had some dinner.

Good night!
