Goodbye Europe!

Woke up in time for lunch, which was lovely broccoli soup! Then I worked until dinner, during which we met our third passenger, Chloe, originally from Lille in Northern France, but having lived in Switzerland

I’m as close to the Eiffel Tower as I will be on this trip.
Port of Le Havre
Loading our ship.
And our third passenger, Chloe from France/Switzerland!

Woke up in time for lunch, which was lovely broccoli soup! Then I worked until dinner, during which we met our third passenger, Chloe, originally from Lille in Northern France, but having lived in Switzerland for 10 years. She is now moving to French Guiana to start a completely new life there.

We’re leaving Europe right now, so I won’t update this blog in about two weeks. But if you’re starting to miss me, then you can check our ship position here: https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/details/ships/shipid:3527495/mmsi:228369700/vessel:CMA%20CGM%20CAYENNE

I’ll have a good time! Will read books, climate papers, do some programming, study languages, and every now and then get some French bullying by Daniel and Chloe and the rest of the crew. Cheers!

And before we went, I donated 196 USD to www.givedirectly.org
