Time for Rotterdam!
Rotterdam’s new central station.
WWII prisoner looking at the skyscraper.
The Chinese christian community. (Old-type characters.)

I went to the police and said I was leaving the country, but they said I was not on the list, and should be back at 19.

I spent the afternoon in a cafe, downloading books etc. Then I came back to the police at 19 and they looked at my passport and said: “Have a great time!”

Tunnel under Rotterdam harbour. Not breaking today.
Subway up to the Southern part of Rotterdam.
An hour walk through ships and nothing.
And there is my ship!
Difficult to get to.

I walked south on a railway track until there was an opening, then back north again.

Lovely!
Untz untz untz.
Super-scary stairs up.

After walking the scary stairs up, I met a French guy who introduced me to the ship. Then I had some dinner all by myself.

I guess there are only men at the ship.

The guy told me that as long as they are moving goods on the ship, I’m not allowed to leave my room. So I’m sitting here until we leave the harbour at 4 pm tomorrow. Lovely!
