I misunderstood the order of having to be in my room – they meant the building! Well, there isn’t much more than the building on the ship, but there is the outside which they are putting full of containers as we speak. So this meant that I could have breakfast at 7 am. Down there I met the Other Passenger – Daniel from Bern in Switzerland. Then we had a security trip of the whole ship. It was complete with a little test where we had to write down what we learned. Unfortunately, we had to give them the test, so I don’t remember anything. But if I hear a lot of signals, I’ll leave my room and find someone. I have my own seat in the emergency boat – number four on the left side. Then I learned how to steer the ship:
And there is a gym! I’ll do “Push Pull Legs”. I’m not sure how to Leg Press etc in there, but maybe you know? The running machine doesn’t work. I’ll mention it.
The wine on the table was a bit of a mystery since it’s clearly written everywhere that the CMA CGM Cayenne is a totally nonalcoholic ship. It turns out it was for Brexit. Brexit made the ship turn from an English flag to a French flag. This meant changing the Brits for French, the Burmese for Filipinos, and the non-alcohol for French wine.
