Good morning Tegucigalpa! Feeling all murderous today? Great! I’m leaving.
To El Salvador! Lovely river crossing. I got no stamp when entering El Salvador. As always, I was never sure when there was a check or not. I’m in here illegally now?
The country is very densely populated. It was like we were driving through city the whole way.
Arrived in the hotel! A very cute place I must say. Lovely little room. Poor internet. And the shower didn’t even try to have hot water – only one tap. I didn’t even try it. I’m so smelly now that you’d call the fire brigade! The reason that I’m staying at these cheap Ticabus hotels is simply that their buses are always leaving at 5 in the morning.
Went to the nearest laundry. On the positive side: they had a beautiful cat. On the negative side: they couldn’t wash and clean my clothes for today. Maybe I smell too much? They’re like “oh Jesus, not HIS clothes!”.
I took another way back from the laundry and suddenly stumbled into the red-light district. I haven’t seen that many prostitutes in my life, mostly sitting in their tiny little rooms. Well, I didn’t ask for their jobs, but they looked like prostitutes. Gah, I wouldn’t stay with any one of them for a hundred dollars. Or at least not a 20. They weren’t the loveliest El Salvadorians so to speak.
Btw, the chair you lost? I think I found it.
Buy books! I loved this city. Lots of second-hand shops. And you could buy big paper animals to trash on your parties. The only negative thing was the sound from the traffic. “- It’s a traffic jam, what do you do? – I beep! Beep, beep, beep!”
Lovely Latin American church. Like the pictures!
OMG, what is happening here? Yes, after 67 hours, including the sweet coffee and salty oranges after 36 hours, I ate. I ate everything they sold on this street. Including this ice cream with cream on top. The cream was disgusting btw. But the chocolate ice cream was nom, nom, nom! I simply didn’t make it to 72 this time. Maybe I was too active. I’ll try again when I’m just lying in my bed. In a place where eating costs 🙂
So many buses here. I’m happy that I’m simply walking today! I came home to the happy armed guard, went up the stairs, opened the cute door and then I laid in bed eating crisps. Good night, you hungry world packed with nice foodies!
